While Pheasant hunting a few weekends ago in the more than gorgeous western part of Minnesota west of Starbuck. This image is derived from thought, memory and ideas from a field I worked Cooper - my German Shorthair Pointer. He is the name of my OPA Eastern Regional SHow painting as well, a mascot and or inspiration of sorts.

Ben, a follow-up to my comments on your last post - regarding the shellac boards. Do you recommend sanding the surface after the final coat of shellac? I've put on 2 coats and the remaining surface feels somewhat rough - not really textured (like brushmarks) but just "bumpy". What have you found to work for you?
